Lily’s Bakery – Milestone 2
These past few weeks I’ve been trying to go fast and not give into the perfectionist part of me. To achieve this I’ve been setting timers while making SFX, and even though sometimes I worked a little bit past the timers, they have definitely helped prevent me from falling into rabbit holes. Something about the game development process - probably that so much of it happens across different applications and between different disciplines - makes it easier to believe that if you just get your part right on its own, it will work for the greater whole. But that’s like mixing each track in solo, you have no context. I had a chat with Jerry Berlongieri a few weeks ago about this which helped me get into this new mindset, so thanks Jerry!
